YOGASMOGA SALE!

I've blogged about Yogasmoga before - I really do like their products!  I do have to say that I don't wear my Yantra Tanks much in the warmer weather because the Aurum fabric - although very compressive, is not as cooling as other fabric tanks that I have.  I love the Stripy Tank that they make in Aurum Stripe fabric - much softer and better wicking properties!  Wish those were part of the sale, I would buy more (although I do already have three colors ;p  ).

I ordered these two beauties:

Tickle Me Tank:  Coral Pink
Original Price $72
SALE PRICE $36

I plan to wear this tank to Moksha Yoga, spin class, and possibly to strength classes that do not include a lot of cardio.

U and Me Bra:  Seattle Mist/Grey Cavier
Original Price  $49
SALE PRICE $24.50

This looks a lot like my Lululemon Flow Y Bra.  I am not a large chested girl so I live in those bras - I can even use them to run in.  I hope to use the U and Me Bra as a good all purpose workout bra.  I love this color combo too!  I have a pair of the Run Jump 'n Play Crops in the Grey Cavier color already and love them.

Other items on sale on the Yogasmoga website include:
Yantra Tanks $27.50 (was $55), Twistie Tank $32 (was $64), Sneak 'n Peek Bra $26 (was $52), Sweet 'n Short shorts $27 (was $54), Run, Jump 'n Play Crop $44 (was $88), Tippy Toe Legging $48 (was $96), Ballerina Legging $49 (was $98), Classic Slimmie Pant $54.40 (was $109).  There are some fabulous deals on this site for a limited time!!!  Sale ends on August 28th at midnight.  I highly recommend the Classic Slimmie Pants (I would size down one more size if I got another pair - I have size 6 and love them but would like them a little snugger.  I wear size 6 in Groove Pants from Lululemon for a reference).   I would also recommend the Run Jump 'n Play Crops (these fit perfectly in my regular size 6 - very compressive!).

Happy shopping!
Cheers!

Lululemon Run Inspire Black Savasana Camo -All Luxtreme

I was so sad when I saw pictures of black savasana camo Run Inspire Crops on blog pages and realized that they sold out so fast, I didn't even see them online!  I sighed about this and hoped that they would come back, but seriously thought that they were limited edition and most likely gone forever - as is often Lululemon's style when they bring out coveted new items and or prints (another issue for another blog entry).

About a week later I was just casually sifting through their crops online and there they were! Bam! Online and in all kinds of sizes!  I quickly ordered a pair in size 6, which is my tts in all Lululemon bottoms, and awaited their arrival.

In the meantime, I read some not-so-pleasant reviews of these crops.  Many people said that they had to size up as these were tighter fitting than the regular Luxtreme material that these crops usually come in.  Oh dear.  Then I read a lot about how the material was shiny.  I wasn't too worried about that as Luxtreme is a shiny material.  It is definitely not the same as traditional, thick Luon.  I already knew this and love Luxtreme crops for running, so this didn't worry me too much.  Then I saw a few reviews that called the matieral "cheap-looking" and "scratchy".  These descriptors had me a little more worried for sure!

When the crops arrived, I tore them out of the bag and examined the material closely.  The size looked right. They were soft and shiny but in the light they looked exceptionally shiny.  This really worried me.  I mean, I am sure that I would be able to find a pair of shiny polyester workout crops at Old Navy or Target that had a camo print for a small percentage of the cost.  I had paid the premium price for these puppies though!  $92 + tax!  Apparently these are a limited edition print so Lululemon decided to charge more!  What the heck?

When I tried them on, they were completely opaque - no sheerness with the bend-over test at all.  They felt compressive - which is fantastic.  There were made of 'All Luxtreme', as the tag said, which is different from regular Run Inspire Crops as they have some mesh behind each leg but these did not.  But were they too shiny? Were they too cheap looking?  UGGH!!! I couldn't decide.  I wore them around the house with the tags on them off and on for almost two weeks.  Decision day was upon me as you only have two weeks to return unused merchandise to Lululemon.

On the weekend I was going to be participating in Yogathon - 108 Sun Salutaions (#Riseforacause) and I thought, what the heck, I will try these crops on one more time.  This time, they felt amazing.  They weren't super shiny - probably never were but I let those reviews get under my skin.  I cut the tags, washed them and wore them to do 3 hours of Sun Salutations. They were awesome!  The first thing that happened after I got to my mat was a girl close by pointed them out to her friend and said, "Oh! I love her crops!"  She looked to me and asked where I got my "awesome crops".  I told her Lululemon and that I almost sent them back.  She looked horrified and said, "Oh God no!  Those are fantastic!"

So happy I kept them!  Such a nice addition to my workout wardrobe of workout crops which are almost all completely solid black.

Cheers!

June Lululemon Purchases: Treasures and Returns

Since I live nowhere near a Lululemon store location, I often find myself ordering online.  I do live close to a boutique store which carries some Lululemon items, but stock doesn't always have the size, color, or items that I may be looking for.  At the end of June I did find myself in close proximity to an actual LLL store!  I had 45 minutes to look/try on/shop/buy and these are the 5 items that I left with (I tried on about 15 items):

Every Yogi Tee:  Stroll Stripe Heathered Cashew White/White
I got this fantastic t shirt on markdown!  Super comfy and long!  It is great to wear with Wunder Unders - covers your bum comfortably without being tight.  I got it in my tts (true to size) 6 and it fits really well.  Reviews on this product weren't great - a lot of talk of piling and crooked seams. I haven't had any problems but I do wash it as directed and lay flat to dry.  I've found that it keeps its shape and the Vitasea material is amazingly soft!

Up the Pace Crop:  Steep Stripe Bleached Coral Horizontal
These are my new absolute favorite crops!!!!!  OMG!   These are made of Luxtreme and Mesh, these were very thick with great coverage!  No sheerness at all and I did the bend over test a number of times to check this out!  They fit on the waist at a medium rise like the old Wunder Unders did and they stay in place beautifully when you run/jump/squat, etc!  The length is around the same as Wunder Unders as well.  These are designated as crops for running but due to the amazing coverage you can wear them for any activity!  I like these even better than my Run Inspires because the material really does great things to make your bum look tight and high - and really, who doesn't want that!?  I bought these in my tts 6.

I was amazed when I saw these go on the WMTM section of the online store this week!  They had only been available for a month and there they were, only $69 a pair!  Of course, this was too good to pass up so I ordered two black pairs and can not wait for them to arrive!!!!!  If you haven't tried these yet, they are so worth it!  Here's what they look like in black:

Pace Setter Skirt - Tall:  Black
I've wanted to try a Pace Setter Skirt for ages!  I see other runners wear them and they look so cute!  Trouble is, I have heavy thighs and the little shorts under the skirt always made my thighs look bigger when I tried them on in the past.  Since I was at the store and had access to more stock, I got to try on the tall version and it looked much better - much more modest length for this gal who usually wears crops so I purchased it!  I wore this skirt once for a short, fast 5K run. When I got home and took it off, the stitching in the crotch area was all undone on the inside of the shorts!  I washed the skirt and returned it right away!  I did experience excellent customer service with the online GEC that I connected with.  They offered to send me a GC which is fine by me as I will most like just purchase a replacement item when it comes :-)

Rollin With My Omies Tank:  Aquamarine
I bought this little beauty to wear to work, out to supper, etc.  It is listed as a "to and from" item, and really, it isn't a function activewear piece.  It is a beautiful top and the color is amazing!  I paired this with a short black skirt in my closet and wore a black cami under and it looked great.  Very light and airy for the hot summer weather!  I plan to wear this to work with a blazer over it in the fall too.  I justified the price tag by telling myself how multi-functional it is :-)

Movement Jacket:  Cayman Stripe Heathered Medium Grey
This is my new favorite hoodie!  I'm actually wearing it right now as I type this!!!  It is a chilly, rainy summer day and this lightweight hoodie is exactly the right weight.  It's a nice alternative to the Scuba Hoodie which is much heavier.  The hood is a little big but it it is functional for sure.

So, in 45 minutes I bought 5 items, 4 of which I LOVE and 1 that was sent back!  Not a bad shopping day - as long as I don't think too long about how much it cost in one lump sum....LOL

Cheers!

Glyder Ninja Crop Legging Review

I recently received my new Ninja Crop Leggings from Glyder.  LOVE them!  The material is super soft and they fit really well.  I usually wear a size 6 and am a pear shape so I went with a size small with these crops (same size the I have in the Mantra Crops from Glyder).  The material they are made from is called Forma 101 (88% nylon, 12% spandex).  It washes extremely well - no pilling or fading.  I bought a few pairs in black.  The only other color that they come in right now is called Hot Tangerine and although they are very pretty, I just don't think that I could pull off that light of a color as a bottom so I stuck with the basic black.

As you can see, I've been taking awkward selfies again :-)  I really wanted to show how cute the gladiator cut outs on calf of these crops are!  LOVE THIS FEATURE!!  A few friends and I bought them and we love them!  These are super functional, fitting, fabulously sexy crops!  I say, if you are going to get sweaty, you might as well look good doing it!

You will notice the tank I'm wearing in these pictures is also from Glyder.  This is the Lotus Tank in Cozumel.  I love this tank so much!!!  I bought it in a size small (I wear 34C for reference) and it fits like a glove!  Great compression!  I usually wear it during strength training and yoga classes.  The material is deliciously soft!  Although this tank has bra cups in the shelf bra, it doesn't come with the cup inserts.  I have lots of inserts from other workout tanks and bras so I always add them for a little extra support.

I highly recommend the Ninja Crop Leggings if you want a great workout crop that fits well and hugs your curves.  If you are small in the hip area be sure to measure carefully and check the sizing chart on the Glyder website before purchasing.  If you are in Canada, unfortunately we don't get free shipping, but the price on these items are very reasonable, in my opinion, for the quality ($68).

I also highly recommend the Lotus tank with one drawback:  I'm short in the torso so this tank works for me (I'm 5'5 for reference) but I wouldn't want it to be any shorter, so perhaps you taller ladies may want to check the sizing chart for coverage that you are looking for.

Yogasmoga My Stripy Racerback Review

When Yogasmoga came out with their new items last month, I quickly ordered the My Stripy Racerback in Carbon 6 (PS I have a thing for stripes...LOVE them).  This particular tank was said to be made from a new material called Aurum Stripe, which was supposed to be softer and more lightweight than the original Aurum material.  I live in Canada and Yogasmoga ships out of NYC.  This tank was in my mailbox after only a week!  I usually wear a size 6 or small in workout tanks, so I ordered this one in a size 6 as well.  Perfect fit! I love the shape of this tank - it dips down in the front and back for optimal coverage.  It is long enough to skim my hip but not too long (I don't like when tanks cover my bum when I am trying to run, jump, etc while I workout).  For a reference point, I am 5'5 and short in the torso.  As you can see from the awkward selfies below (sorry, I am not an avid selfie taker ;-)) I am a pear-shaped girl and am curvy in the hip/bum area and this tank hugs my curves nicely when I workout - I need my gear to stay in place when I workout.  You will also notice that the color seems a little messed up - it's just sweat!  I had finished a crazy tough Friday morning full body class right before snapping this shot.  This new material really wicks the sweat away from your body as you work!

Love this new tank! Love this new material!  Can not wait to order another Yogasmoga My Stripy Racerback tank!  Next time I think I will go with the Verdi color!

Happy long weekend!!

Latest Yogasmoga Order

As I posted yesterday, Yogasmoga has added some new product to their website for women! They are also in the process of getting a men's line together to be expected online on May 1, 2014.

What I forgot to mention in yesterday's post was that not only do they have some new items, they also have new colors in old favorites (ie Klarit Red Run Jump N' Play Crops, just one of the many examples) AND they have a new material called Aurum Stripe.  This is supposed to be a softer, more lightweight version of their original material, Aurum.  The picture below is of the new XOX Tee that is a combo of the original Aurum material and the new lighter weight Aurum Stripe material

Made from a combination of our two exclusive
high performance wicking fabrics - Aurum 24 and Aurum Stripe,
you get double the punch.

I have to say that I am excited about the new lightweight material.  I  have a few tanks made of Aurum and while I do like them, I am less inclined to wear them if I am going to be sweating lots as I don't find that they breathe as well as lighter weight materials.  Don't get me wrong, they are lovely tanks with great wicking properties but I just find them best to wear when I won't be sweating as much.

I've ordered the My Stripey Racerback in Carbon 6 ($48).   I'm also excited that this tank is a little longer than their original Yantra Tank.

I will post a review of this new item when it arrives!  I'd love to hear any feedback that any of you have on the new Yogasmoga items!  Feel free to comment/post!

Cheers!

YOGASMOGA SALE!!!!! SLIMMIE PANTS

If anyone has read my Yogasmoga reviews from earlier posts, you know that I am a big fan!  Got an email a few days ago with an offer to purchase a pair of Classic Slimmie Pants (LOVE THESE - see earlier post dedicated to the Slimmie!) and you would get a second pair free of charge!  The email said it was for selected Yogasmoga clients (I figured that just meant people on their email list who bought things in the past). The second pair would be in your size but the color may be a surprise.  This made me a little wary as I am not overly adventurous when it comes to the colors of my workout bottoms.  I was relieved to see that all of their bottoms are either Carbon Black or Caviar Grey with a colored waist band.  Good deal for that price! ($109 per pair but you will get two pairs!!).

Then just this morning I noticed that this sale was advertised on facebook so it is now open to anyone ordering Classic Slimmie Pants!  I highly recommend them!  They fit like a glove, wash like a towel, and never pill!

Latest Gylder Review: Paradise Sports Bra and Lotus Tank

I've recently received my latest Glyder Apparel purchases and couldn't be happier with them!!

First, I need to take a minute and talk about the importance of a really good sports bra.  We come in all shapes and sizes ladies, this is true.  Myself, I am rather small-chested and since I am a pear-shaped gal, I am much smaller on top than on the bottom.  Since I am not overly abundant in the boobie area, I am able to get away with some less supportive bras in low impact situations - ie yoga, pilates, barre, and some strength training workouts.  I just need them in place during those types of activities and so a heavy duty bra isn't necessary for that. Now, if I am running, jumping, or doing any sort of high impact work, I NEED a supportive bra. Yes, even us itty-bittys need support.  No one wants them to jiggle when they workout. Well, I don't anyway!  I like my girls to be locked and loaded at all times, especially when I run!  Enter the Paradise Sports Bra from Glyder.

This bra is very pretty.  I love love love the straps!  When I saw it first, I wondered if it would hold me enough for anything high impact.  It is lightweight and the material is buttery soft!  The straps in the back make your back look awesome too ;-)  I ordered a size small (I am a 34C - a small C, but still a C) and I usually buy size 6 in Lululemon bras (that may help put it into perspective for others).  There is an excellent sizing chart on the Glyder website as well.  This bra offers slits on the inside where you can put in cup inserts. No cups came with my purchase but I have loads from all of the other yoga type bras/tops that I have and they all seem to fit.  When I tried it on I was incredibly surprised at how supportive this bra was!  I think it is the 2 straps on each side and the criss-cross action that helps it to hold the girls in place.  I tested this bra out right away of course!  I took it on a 5K run just to see.  Well, I was totally impressed!  The bra stayed in place, the girls didn't move throughout the run!  THEN I went to a Power HIIT class afterwards and found the support level to be just what I needed when doing high knees, jump squats, plyometric jumps, etc!  Love it!  A new fav for me for sure.  Now, I am not sure how this would work with a larger-chested lady!  I found the coverage to be ample for me, but like I said, I don't have a whole lot to cover so you should refer to the sizing chart before purchasing for sure.

My other new item was the Lotus Tank in Cozumel Teal Space Dye.

This top is so pretty!!!  Love the mixture of pinks and blues!  This tank fit beautifully and the material was lovely!  So soft!  I also found it compressive, which I love!!!  It stayed in place nicely when I did burpees and it left my arms, shoulders and back free and unrestricted when I was lifting weights.  This tank came with a built in shelf bra that also had slits for cups (also not included with the purchase).  This will be a great tank to wear to yoga, barre, pilates, strength training and low impact workouts.  I bought a size small (I usually wear a size 6 in Lululemon tanks).  I will definitely be adding more of these to my wardrobe!!!

Glyder has been mentioning on facebook that new items are coming soon to their website and I am patiently waiting for this.  Well, I've not really been that patient.  I've checked the facebook page and website daily to keep an eye for new styles/colors/sizes!!!  I also want/need a pair of the black Ninja Crop Leggings!!!  I'm waiting for them to come out in a size small.  Also I want/need two new pairs of Mantra Crops in Navy Space Dye and Grey Space Dye (waiting on my size for those as well).  Keep an eye out for new items!!  I'll post as soon as I see them!!!!

Cheers!!!

Nike Free Bionic: My New Favorite Training Shoe!

Over the years, I've always just worn my runners to the gym.  This was fine when doing any running, stairs, sprinting, or high impact cardio.  In fact, due to my very flat feet and inclination towards plantars fasciitis, my runners were/are a must during these types of exercises. However, I knew I wasn't getting the optimal performance from my shoes when I was using TRX or doing any strength training (ie weighted reverse lunges, bent leg dead lift, etc).  During these types of workouts, I could feel my feet shifting in my shoes and I didn't have a really great grip on the gym floor.  This always made me wonder if I was doing more harm then good and possibly causing damage to tissue in my knees and ankles with the slippage.

A few friends of mine recently purchased the Nike Free Bionic shoe for such workouts.  They appeared to be a minimalist type of shoe and so at first I thought that the lack of support and cushioning would not work for my feet.  Then I read up on them and figured, if I only wore them when I was doing strength training and TRX classes, they may be just the ticket!  I went online and bought a very cute pair (they come in loads of fun colors)!  I ordered them from http://www.footlocker.com and got them on sale for $79 + tax/shipping!

Black/Anthracite/Pink Foil | Width - B - Medium

I live in Canada but these came in a week!  Awesome! Who doesn't love to get packages quickly!
Anyway, I tried these out at the gym the very next day for a strength class.  They were perfect! Zero slippage when I was doing weighted reverse lunges.  They are as light as air!  I notice a huge difference when doing box jumps with comparison to when I wore my usual runners. These are very flexible shoes.  As I've said before, they offer very little in the way of support so you couldn't/shouldn't wear them running (unless you are one of those people who can run in minimalist shoes without any injuries).  I'm extremely happy with these shoes!  At first when I put them on and walked around the house in them they felt really weird - they are nothing like my regular runners.  As soon as I started working out at the gym, they no longer felt strange. I really had to pay no attention to my feet at all because for once they felt completely secure!

I highly recommend giving the Nike Free Bionic a try if you do a lot of strength training workouts!  Again, I would use caution if you are looking for a multipurpose type of shoe (like a cross trainer) - not sure these will be what you are looking for or if they are right for your feet.

Cheers!

Awaiting New Glyder Items!

As I have been patiently awaiting the upload of more sizes and colors of Glyder's Mantra Crops and Ninja Crops, a few other items on the site have caught my eye :-)  Surprise surprise!

Currently I am awaiting the arrival of the Paradise Sports Bra in Black, $44.

I love the cute back detailing of the straps!  It looks like a great yoga, pilates, barre and gym workout bra.  It is designed for yoga and pilates but I am thinking that us smaller-chested ladies may be able to get more bang for our buck and be able to wear it to medium impact gym workouts (ie strength workouts). Not sure yet if I would be able to run in it or not, but I will keep you all posted when it arrives!!!  I ordered a small - I usually wear a size 6 or 34C in my sports bras if you would like a reference.  The site has an excellent size chart as well!

I'm also waiting for the Lotus Tank in Cozumel Teal Space Dye, $46.

This tank has built a built in shelf bra and space to put in cups if you wish (I always do as it gives you a much smoother look).  I love this space dye color!  A beautiful mix of pink and blue!  I will wear this to yoga, barre, pilates, and for low impact gym workouts.  I probably won't wear this for a run just because I like lots of support when I run, even though I am not a large chested lady. Nothing hurts more than your girls moving around too much when you are out running!  I usually wear a size 6 in tanks so I ordered a small.

These should be arriving any day now and I will keep you posted as to fit and functionality of these items!

Cheers! Happy Spring!

Glyder Mantra Crops: So Great I'm Reviewing Them A Second Time!!!!

I ordered Glyder Apparel Mantra Crops in Black and Charcoal Heather a while back and I can not say how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!!!

I've worn both pairs at least once a week since they arrived and they are amazing!  I wash them with like fabrics and hang to dry - as I do with all of my workout gear.  Not one sign of pilling anywhere in sight on either pair!  They haven't stretched out one bit with wear!  They continue to stay put when I run, do yoga, lift weights, do burpees, you name it!  It has been at least a few years since I've seen this kind of quality in my workout gear!

(These are the Charcoal Heather pair.  Sorry, it's really hard to get a good shot of your own pants! LOL You can see from the picture, though, the great compression and how they flatten out your tummy area and hold you in nicely.  No muffins here!)

I've recently messaged the company as I want to order more colors in the Mantra Crop and I want to try the Ninja Crops in black.  Currently my size 6 is sold out in all of the colors that I want on their website http://www.work-sweat-play.com.   They assured me that in the next month or so there will be more stock on hand.  When they replenish the stock these will be mine!!!

Mantra Crop, Navy Space Dye  $52

Ninja Crop, Black $68

Something that I really love about the way this company is dealing with their stock is that they continue to replenish stock items that they know people love!  This is something that I think Lululemon could learn from! Instead of putting out a great item for a short time in limited quantities and then never making that same item again, or at least not making it the same way with the same materials, keep making the tried and true!  Sure, we all like to try something new every now and then but when it comes to core workout gear, keep it simple and keep the quality high!

If you haven't tried Glyder Apparel yet, I highly recommend that you do!  The clothes are high quality, they fit great and the price is right!

Cheers and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Jamie

PS- I do not receive any financial or product incentive when I write about products on my blog.  I do this for fun and to hopefully help inform others on what is out there!  :-)

Latest Lululemon Excursion :-)

So I wandered into a store today that carries a limited selection of Lululemon gear in my area (I live nowhere near a Lululemon store unfortunately) in search of a Bang Buster Headband.  I recently decided that bangs were a good idea (and I still think they are) but they get in the way when I work out.  My head sweats a lot when I workout so all those hairs around my face a just a pain!

Of course I didn't go directly to the wall of headbands right away when I arrived.  I had to take a quick peek around in case something else caught my eye.  Then I saw a few pairs of Cadet Blue Wunder Unders. Tentatively I picked up one of the tags to check the size.  I was sure they'd only have size 10 and 2 left, as per usual.  NOPE!  There they were!  Size 6!  Squeal!  So I tried them on right away.  Did the bend test and PERFECTION!  Not sheer at all!!!  They are reversible too so I can either wear the Cadet Blue or the all Black side if I want.  Needless to say, I bought these on the spot!  They disappeared online rather quickly so I never dreamed I'd find them so close to home!

Reversible Wunder Under Crops  $82
Cadet Blue/Black

I did try on the Bang Buster Headband and it is just the thing I was looking for!  Cute, and adjustable (you can make it as wide or narrow on your head as you want).  This will work well at the gym or out for a run.  I might give it a try in a hot yoga class as well.  If I have it low enough on my forehead it may help keep some sweat from rolling into my eyes!

Bang Buster Headband   $18
Black

All in all a great Saturday morning shopping trip!

Happy weekend everyone!

Race With Grace Crops: Lululemon Review

A few weeks ago, I was looking through the WMTM (We made too much) section of the Lululemon website as I often do.  They had the Race With Grace Crops on for $59.  I really wanted a new pair of running crops and these had great reviews and the price was right so I ordered them.

Mistakenly, I ordered the Light Soot and Bali Breeze color.  I meant to order the Soot Light and Wee Stripe White, but I ordered quickly before going to a 6 am class at the gym.  I guess my mind was awake enough to remember my credit card info but not enough to check the color I had selected.  LOL!  I love the Bali Breeze waist band, but not particularly struck on the colored stripe down the leg, but they were on sale so I have to keep them anyhow.  It's not so much that the stripe doesn't look sharp, but ladies who are like me and have a more generous hip and thigh area, we usually try not to attract extra attention there with bright colors, stripes, and other frills.

These crops fit like a dream!  I love the little back pocket for your key when you go out for a run. The waist band stays in place nicely when you run/jump etc.  I wore these to a class that had a lot of cardio (suicides, burpees, sprinting, etc) and they stayed in place throughout the class. The material is lovely and soft.

One thing that I did notice when I tried them on first is that they are a little on the sheer side.  When I say sheer, I mean I can't wear any underwear with them or not only will you see vpl (visible panty lines), but you will know what color the underwear are as well!  I took out the rip tag and went commando to run in these.  That being said, any deep bends while wearing these crops would not be too smart :-)  I'll wear these to upper body strength and cardio classes and when I want to go for a run.  I won't wear these to an ab class, a lower body strength class (where you would have to do deep squats or lunges), barre, or yoga classes.

The first question most people ask when you say a crop is sheer is 'did you buy the correct size'?  Yep.  I bought my regular size 6.  As it was, I had to pull the drawstring in the waist tighter so if I had purchased a size 8, the waist would have been way too big and wouldn't have stayed up at all.  I don't usually care as much if my tag says 6 or 8, but I do care if the crop does its job and stays put while I workout.

All in all, not a bad crop but not as multi-functional as other crops in my fitwear wardrobe.

Cheers!
